  1. Forgive my newness,I put this in the wrong place.
I was wondering if there is a national road race for recumbents, on a par with say the tour of Britain? And just how many recumbents are there out there(I guess what I want to know is just how popular recumbents are!)
Would love to try one for size, but would feel a bit silly at first, what with them being so rare around these parts

  2. now that would be funny to watch, a recumbent race !!

  3. Well, one day i reckon recumbents could outnumber conventional bikes, just as mountain now outnumber racers!

  4. mountain bikes might outnumber racers, but racers definately log more hours.

  5. but racers definately log more hours.
npt round here, when racers are seen as naff, old fashioned.Everyone has mountain bikes, preferably with suspension. Its a fashion thing.! Me i'd rather have a tourer!
