  1. anybody have an idea what the pros will do on monday and tuesday after racing saturday and sunday? the next belgiun semi classic is this wednesday... i am curious as to what they do and how far and fast they ride recovering from 2 hard days and being ready for wednesday.. thanks

  2. They'll get out for a couples of hours on each rest day, to do a few miles, in order to keep their legs supple.
    I reckon they'd do a minimum 50kms, but no more than 100kms.

The remainder of the rest day revolves around resting, sleep and eating.

  3. They relax and try to concentrate on diet. You need to get the energy back for next session. You should not exhaust yourself.

  4. Don't exhaust yourself or do really tiring activities because it could damage your muscles. I think you need to recover slowly and not push hard all of a sudden, relax and eat well and you will recover alright.
