  1. Anyone know whether the lockring on a Record 10 freehub should be greased or anti-seized before installing? I'm using a steel/ti Record cassette.

    Park Tools' website says grease the lockring, but Campy's instructions and website don't mention it either way.

  2. I just assembled one two weeks ago -- no lube. I didn't even think about until now. Thanks a lot! :-) I suppose it matters, though, only if you ever plan on taking it off...

    They do typically have to come off. Never hurts to use grease on a threaded connection. Not doing it creates potential bigger problems.
