I once cycled there-and-back simply because it was at the bottom right
of my map of France [1].
I recall fumes, maniac traffic, heavy industrialied areas, potholes and noise.
Other than that, it was raining.
I turned around in the centre and cycled home.
However the ride through the Alps was fantastic :-)
