My 4 year old son was diagnosed within hours of birth as having WPW.
So pretty much all his life he has been treated with Inderal.
Initially he would have breakthroughs failry often, but the episodes
grew further and far between. And we were always able to convert him
with a cold towel applied to his face. It has been about a year now
since his last episode.
During out last visit to the cardiologist, Dr. Fishberger of
Schneider's Children's Hospital told us that my son was at a good age
to consider the ablation. It would mean finally getting him off the
meds. While the meds have never exhibited any side effects with him,
we always hoped that someday we could get him off of them.
As my wife and I start to move towards having the procedure done, I
was hoping to get some feedback unbiased feedback on...
Where the "Best" places to have the procedure done in the US?
Where the "Best" places to have the procedure done on the east coast?
Which doctors at these locations to consider?
