The BigOven (bigoven.combigoven.comOpen ↗) recipe sharing network is getting ready to ship, and we need
your input.
What is BigOven? It's a recipe sharing system for Windows.
Discover recipes to make by searching by title, keyword, or simply entering three ingredients
from your fridge. BigOven will search over 100,000 recipes and give you some options. Import them
with a click of the mouse, thanks to BigOven's XML links. Drag and drop the recipe cards of your
choice onto a shopping list (or a meal calendar!), and BigOven will combine them into a sorted
shopping list, ready for the store. Rate the recipe when you're done, and read the collected
ratings of others.
Email recipes to other users, analyze nutritional content for any recipe with USDA nutrition
information... bring in all your recipes from MealMaster .MMF format, and far more.
Does the world need another recipe program? We think so, but we want to hear from *you*. We think
we've designed one that's easy to use, and is focused on using the Internet for a better way to
*share*, *rate*, and *discover* great recipes with others.
The preview edition is free but limits you to 750 recipes; we're just looking for feedback and ways
to make it even better for you before we call this first version complete. If you're interested in a
