Hi all,
I dont know wether this have been posted here before but i just made
it for dinner and i absolutely loved it. My friend i had over for
coffee today some time ago mentioned broccoli soup. I had forgotten
till i saw her. I asked for the recipe but she couldnt remember it
all. She told me to use nutmeg, broccoli and some cream.
Being in no mood to search the net for a recipe i decided to wing it.
So here is the recipe as i made it.
200 g broccoli.
3 cloves of garlic
Half a chilipepper
Half a pepper
2,5 dl broth
Nutmeg to taste
Cream or butter to make the texture more creamy.
Cut in small pieces and boil for ten minutes. Toss in blender and let
it spin till the texture is creamy, add butter or cream to get texture
more creamy. About 2 tbl.
Dilute with water if you want a thinkker soup.
Since i am having pudding for dessert today i had to use something
other than the suggested cream but butter worked nicely.
The last couple of days i have been making several different veggies
soups. I allways use some broccli or cauliflower to make i creamy but
other than that i have used combinations of chilipepper, onions,
pepper, sprouts and so on. Its really nice if you feel a cold coming
on and very filling. It is kind of weird eating it alongside with a
beef but i have gotten kind of used to weird combos by now *g*
