I will be in Amsterdam next weekend and the weather is suppossed to be sunny with a high of 48. If the weather holds (i.e. no rain), I'm riding.
First, I'm assuming there's a high-end shop where I can rent a decent bike - any suggestions? My pipe dream would be to get a nice carbon/campy set up but that my be a tall order.
Second, any suggestions on routes? About 60 miles would be preferred.
If I ride on Saturday, what are the chances of hooking onto a mini-peloton?

Thanks in advance.
I was on holiday in Amsterdam 5 weeks ago : there are literally dozens of bike shops in Amsterdam where you can hire a bike. You will have no difficulty.
I'm not sure you will get a highend racing bike for hire - any European capital, with a cycling culture, that I have visited do not hire out high spec bikes.
