My old Berghaus hiking jacket isn't up to it for winter hill walking in
Scotland (it's a 10 year old Berghaus Gemini Cornice), so I need to get
a new jacket. It must be very waterproof and have a good hood for
protection against driving sleet and such. I liked the Berghaus
Accelerator II for around £225. I also liked the North Face Mountain
Light Jacket which costs slightly more but the hood wasn't so good
(although the jacket does match my mountain pants and style is
everything after all!) Does anyone have any recommendations or
comments on these jacket or others please?
