My rear mech hanger recently snapped sending the derailleur into the back wheel and pretty much ruining it 😠 . I was wondering if Shimano M580 Deore LX rear derailleur would be compatible with SRAM SX4 trigger shifters? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sram and Shimano Rear Derailers & Shifters are not campatable as the have different 'pull ratios' i.e. Sram is 1 to 1 & shimano is 2 to 1 (I think)I have a preference for Sram anyway so would suggest that you stick with Sram.
