With a slight bit of innovation I've found you can mount blinkies anywhere on your bike. A roll of eletrical tape, an old innertube, and few zip ties; you can mount them anywhere.

  4. aluminum counter top strap-available at HDepot- drilled and bent, mounted to the rack or??? with
small u-bolts used for cable hitching or home made fasteners of steel strap bolted across a member
and down on itself with two more bolt/nuts... THEN the lights units can be
STACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink
    blink blink blink

  5. My girlfriend found the perfect kind recently.

Here, in Texas, they have '$1 Stores' and, YES, anything in the store is $1.00.

She found these red flashing lights (they have 3 LED's) and are 2"
    dia.

The clamp will fit a seatpost or can be spaced down to fit a seatstay. One will give you good
visiblity but, with two, even Ray Charles could see you.

    Lewis.
