After reading the thread about using bmx hubs for a single speed/fixie i'm going to put together a wheelset myself. Only problem is im unsure whether or notthe 14mm bmx axle will work in the drop-outs of the track bike which are made for 15mm axles. Can anyone help me out? Any thoughts/ help would be appreciated.

FWIW. I don't know if the axle diameter is a factor ... but (this reply should prompt someone else to reply), if it is, then SURLY's Monkey Nuts which are used to offset the axle, slightly, will probably increase the diameter sufficiently IF it is actually an issue.
