I think when (no IF) this rain stops today, I'm going to be walking not cycling, as at least one gets out without being caked in mud and filth and without getting water in the bike's gears.

15:30 rain stops. 16:30 I stop work and get out on bike. Really bright warm sunshine dries up the roads, but I dare not go off-road! 18:20 Get back home, having scored a bum bag from Millets replacing my 8 year old worn out one for a mere £4. Last one in the shop too to bag the bargain bag! 18:45 Intending to go out again for some more cycling and... it's pissing down again.
A good cycle in sunshine, some female's compliments, a bargain, and some massively fortuitous timing! What else will go right today! With luck like this, I should go to a casino.
