  1. So I have hay fever, and this season has been bad enough to really affect my riding time. I've been
doing the Zyrtec thing which mostly kept stuff at a low-level of annoyance but this weekend was
really bad. I was breathing through a straw and coughing up rubber cement. This I could still take
(barely), but not my wife. I think the hacking cough she can take; it's the mewling that puts her on
edge (a couple of years ago during a prior attack I gasped out, "this is the beginning of the end.
It's downhill from now on. If I'm like this now, how do you think I'm going to be when I'm 80?" Fast
enough to make me think this was not the first time she had considered this possibility, she said,
    "Lonely."😉.

Anyway, she called up a physician and arranged for a housecall (the French medical system is not
at all like the U.S), and now I'm in proud posession of corticosteroids in both tablet and
    injectable forms.

Bring on the Tour. I'm ready.
