Can worn bottom bracket bearings cause chain to skip? The reason, I was riding my bike today, and noticed that there is some side to side movement. .... Another thing to fix... Micheal Sounds like a worn chain or cassette. How many miles do you have on your chain, cassette and chain rings? These things make a chain skip like crazy.

Sounds like a worn chain or cassette. How many miles do you have on
