Hey Susan,
I questioned the use of panoramic X-rays when they first came out.
After all, to the uninitiated it does give the feeling that one would
glow in the dark after leaving the dentist's office.What I learned is that there are tradeoffs in most professions esp
when they involve health.If you don't want the X-Rays, then the dentist will ask you to sign a
waiver, because X-Rays are an extremely valuable tool for a dentist to
discover small problems before they get big.
