Wireless speedometers have no business being on a mountain bike. The first hard drop you take that sucker will be toast. Even wired units are a PIA. I go through 5 or 6 a year.
Huh, I've bent brake levers, rotors, and wheels, torn off deraillures and shifters, and ripped up various saddles, and I still have the same bike computer (on its second bike) for 6 years now. Must be an overall design flaw in bike computers as mine does that, too.

No, it's because you forgot to adjust the "I'm old but I can still handle those youngsters"-setting of your computer. It's now set to 1, but should be changed to 2 :-) Then you'll notice that the reading matches the body soreness again :-)
