I say, get a used wide riser from a buddy, give it a ride or two. You might
like the control, you might hate the positioning and the slower handling.
Like stem rise/length, seatpost, saddles, grips, and pedals,
point-of-contacts are dependent on riding style and preference - and only
you can discern that.
