There's a very simple reason why EDTA chelation therapy is not more
widely accepted for treatment of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.
Multiple randomized clinical trials have failed to show a benefit
greater than placebo in either symptoms or arterial occlusion as
measured by angiography.
It's that simple.

Really? Do tell. What evidence from randomized double-blind trials is
there that chelation therapy improves symptoms of atherosclerotic
cornary artery or peripheral artery disease or that it decreases plaque
as measured by angiography?
