Whole Foods is pretty expensive. When I shop there I look for sale items
and don't just go in with a list. It is expensive, but good.

Ditto that. I love their produce, cheeses, salad dressings, and prepared
foods ready to eat, but good god--it's easy to spend a lot of money there
if you don't pay attention. Occasionally I'll go in to get a piece of meat
or some nice cheese, see 3 or 4 other things that catch my eye, and then
somehow end up with an $80 bill!

  2. I received a gift card for $100 from my parents for christmas. One
trip almost wiped it out! But, they do have nice spices, meats and
deli. I also found a good selection of flaxseed oil. Luckily, I only
have to shop for me, so I am able to indulge a bit.
