If you just potter around and ride on smooth trails, then it's just another bit of weight and something to break, especially at that price point. A suspensionless bike will feel more responsive.
The cyclone seems like a good simple ride with few things to break. That's what I'd buy.
If you end up riding more on the road than anywhere else, then you can outfit the Cyclone with street rubber. Also nice to remember, rigid forks fit real fenders--so if you get the bug for a fancier off roader, then the Cyclone will make a dandy utility/city bike.
