Steph and I had our first ride together today. If I remember right,
according to Steph's computer we did 13.9 miles. It wasn't as hard as
I expected, although the last leg (home from Steph's on my own) was
tougher going. It was such a beautiful day today, I'm glad we got out
    in it.

Next weekend, we're going to do it all again.

Excellent - soon you'll be having a jaunt to Norfolk :-)

    Cheers, helen s

Funny you say that. It's one of the places I'm looking at this year!

I cycled to Norfolk last year (from sunny Cambridgeshire) but
had a splitting headache for most of the ride out.

My tip: avoid Fenland District. It really is the pits. And not
a single hill to break the monotony. The ride back via Brandon
and round the south of Newmarket was far more pleasant.
