That's exactly how I feel if I eat too many carbs. When I started moving into maintenance, I upped my net carbs by 15g in one day. I felt exactly like you've described for almost 3 days after that. I settled on doing it in 5g increments/week and even then felt logy for most of the following
day

Ahhhh, well because I didn't count and measure and lookup every bite that could be it 🙂. Yesterday I kept drinking to try and flush out my system...thanks for letting me know that, Bev-Ann! -- Sherry 360/?/195 LC since 4/4/05
It seems some people like us are just more sensitive than others. I see other posters talking about cheating and having a high-carb day or two and they don't seem to have this reaction. The good news is that I can pretty much tell if a new food I try is truly LC when I don't have a reaction to it. For example, a lot of people don't believe that Dreamfields pastas are LC but I know they are because of my built-in "carb-detector" and I don't have any reaction to them. :-)

If you ate a lot more protein on your birthday than you are used to eating, your body may have made some of it into glucose, did you get kicked out of ketosis?
