Yesterday I didn't count or measure. I didn't eat anything strictly
verbotin (like cake or ice cream, even though it was my birthday) but I did
decide I would give myself the day off from measuring. I did ok, or so I
thought - I had all the same things I usually have, with the exception that
hubby took me out to a steakhouse, I got a salad w/ bleu cheese dressing and
a steak. The steak tasted like it had been tenderized but I didn't think
too much of it...until today. I've had all this energy for the last month
or so, and now today I've been so logy and sleepy (got plenty of sleep last
night) and feel just like I used to feel, pre-LC - totally blah. I've gotta
think it was whatever they used to tenderize the meat? Because everything
else I ate yesterday, I've eaten in the last month, and it didn't cause
    this!

No replies required 🙂 unless you've had the same thing happen or have any
    insight...?

(BTW - still doing great, lovin' how I feel - until today - and how I just
    keep shrinking!)

There are a few possibilities. Something in the marinade, or the bleu
cheese dressing could have had sugar, or you just ate too much, or you
    could be getting sick.

It never occured to me that there could have been sugar in the dressing...

Well so far so good today, still not in top form but not nearly as logy as
yesterday - yay! Daughter and I are going to the zoo, it's just 5 blocks
away and we've only gone about 3 times in the 5 years we've lived here.
Lots of walking...so glad to have some of my energy back today.

Yeah, I don't trust restaurant dressings. I don't trust restaurant food
much, for that matter, ever since I heard about IHOP putting pancake
batter in their omelets. If you don't make it yourself you never really
    know what's in it.

I inadvertanly ran into IHOP with their pancake batter. I think they
put it in any of the scrambled egg orders. I got scrabled eggs and
bacon and wanted felt like taking a nap and had the munchies for the
    rest of the damned day!
