All data on non-scurvy effects of Vitamin C are in a state of
flux. The wild claims made by Linus Pauling about its effect
on world peace have made grant agencies abnormally cautious,
so there is very little conventional funding for such work,
particularly in view of the extensive countervailing evidence
related to serum levels.
