Anyway my doctor suggested I take a Vitamin B Complex for the
macrocytosis, and it would also be good for my cholesterol. So I
bought the cheapest generic version I could find and after reading a
    little bit on the web I don't think I even have a B-50 (B1 and B2
levels are 25 mg). For two weeks I noticed I had bright yellow urine
but later learned that was only due to the riboflavin. However I was
also experiencing bloody stools almost daily. I've since stopped
taking the vitamins and my bowel movements are back to normal.

I usually took the vitamin after dinner. I also take other
medications at morning and night to treat depression.

Can anyone explain what this side effect was caused by? Should I be
more alarmed by it than I am? Thanks

    Hi,

I had the same thing i took some vitamin B Complex in the evening and
then i felt very tired on the same evening and in the same night the
leg were somewhat heavy , and i think i was waked up because of that...

I have stopped after 2 evening taking the pill as the symptom don't
look good, and actually the following day i felt much better.

When i look more carefully to the Vitamin B Complex package it showed
that there was some kind of "Mais" or "Corn" added... and a lots of
    additive E***.

Now the question is : is it the vitamin or what they include with it
(either to give the color or taste) that causes the problem ...

Does someone know any study or case that could explain those reaction

Althought i bought some other vitamin that include some vitamin B with
omega 3 ... it seems that i have no symptom... so i have to check if
it's a specific Vitamin B or the additional product they are adding
    ....??

    br,
