When we got our puppy a few years back she came to use with the
terrible trots. So much so it became bloody. She had been eating pupy
food in Seattle. The man who brought her and her brother over here for
his sister to adopt out, gave them different food than he gave them,
then I came along and like a dummy forgot to ask what she was eating.
The poor pup got three different kinds of food without being able to
"climatize" to the food. The vet had me give her plain cooked rice and
a bowl of water available at all time for 3 days and nothing else.
Then she told me to introduce the dry dog food into the rice then
slowly withdraw the rice from her diet. It cured her. She now eats a
wheat and corn free dog food. They say corn especially makes for a fat
dog. Cant have anything fat in my house including the dog BAAAHH!!!
