What kind of riding do you want to get into? Here is my rule of thumb.
16" - Small Kids Uni
20" - Learner/Freestyle
24" - Regular riding/Learner
26" and up - Cruising

definitely - if you decide unicycling's not for you, then it hasn't cost you anything - if you decide it is for you, it would start getting expensive anyway (1 year riding, and I've now got 5 unis!) 🙂
