My 17 year old steel tourer is great, but so is my 6month alu-carb race bike.
Its an alternative, not a replacement. Its improved my speed on, and appreciation of, my faithful tourer.

CARB's - you have to feed it carb's.
Mine's thankful for a drop of oil now and then and are grease pack every
five years. No way I want one that wants a share of my tucker as well.
