Greetings, rec.runners! Please tell us about your training
    week and goals.

Tu: bike to work, 1:45, easy/medium
W: run, 7.3 mi (6:20/mi), comfortable pace, then weights PM
Th: stationary bike, hard, 0:45 total, 4x5 min repeats
    F: weights
    Sa: run, 22.3 mi (6:31/mi)
Su: weights AM, then bike to work, 1:45, easy

    Goal: Charlottesville marathon (Apr 16)

Definitely a good week. Logged the 5th (out of 7 planned) long runs.
The midweek runs have not been as hard as I did last year, but this
seems to be working out anyway, as the long runs are better than last
year. I also wanted to recover a bit more from last weekend's 10 mile
    race.

Today (Sunday), I am still a bit stiff/sore from the long run on Sat,
but had no problems on the bike. I need to be careful about "racing"
these long runs, but during the run I felt strong right to the end. I
think I will have to trust my instincts here.

Also got my first look at an elevation profile for the marathon course.
Holy [censored]! This race makes Boston look like a cakewalk in comparison.
I had some brief thoughts of saying goodbye to my Charlottesville
entry fee and signing up last-minute for Boston on the same weekend
(signup is not closed out yet).

    Good runs, all.
