  3. What is Toque 2005 for those of us too new to the sport to know? I
already know what goes down at Moab and hope to be able to make it next
time there is an event there.

  5. The TOque Games is largly a trials event which spans an entire weekend
and takes place in conjunction with the Toronto International Bike Show.
It was first held in 2003 with about 25 people. I am expecting 70 - 80
competitors to attend the 2005 event.

In addition to the trials competition the TOque games also has 3 other
events ... UMX (uni-cross), Long Jump and High Jump.

The websites for the previous games can be found here, which should give
you a better idea what to expect:
    http://www.toquegames.com/archive/2003/
    http://www.toquegames.com/archive/2004/

Details for the 2005 games will be available shortly.

  10. Oh cool! Finally an event that I may make it to! I've not ridden with
other riders for almost four years...even then, I only rode with one
    other.

Is it cool just to do the general jam, especially since I've never
competed before? I have a feeling I'd be at least in the intermediate
zone, but I'm not counting on competing just yet.

  12. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

You've got a wide array of choices.

Me (well, my dad but yeah...), The Quebec uni-dudes, Unigee and (maybe?)
    Evil_Nick.

  18. I'm going and surely other ''quebec uni-dudes''! Toque games are
definitly being a reference as a local unicycle competition who's
spreading out thanks to Carl Hoyer and the Toronto riders (and of course
    Darren of Bedford unicycles!).
    See you all soon!

  19. Glad to see you guys can make it again Vincent.

A little update on TOque organization ...

We had a 2 hour organization meeting to hash out some of the
organization and outstanding items last night. Everyone involved is
working hard to make this the best unicycle trials event ever held.

The english website will be available by Christmas with French and
    German versions to follow quickly.

HERE ARE SOME DATES TO KEEP IN MIND:

February 4, 2005 : Deadline for early registration and cheapest entry
fee (exact cost to be posted on website)

February 25, 2005 : Deadline for late registration (slightly more than
    early registration)

Onsite registrations WILL be accepted however at a higher cost than the
    late registration.

    March 4 - 6, 2005 : TOQUE GAMES

More details to follow in the coming weeks. Looking forward to it.
