I was once riding with a friend, on my Ordinarys (Penny Farthings) and
my rear wheel came apart. The bike was not rideable and I had my friend
continue without me while I walked mine back to the truck. We were on a
paved cycling trail that was very crowded and about 3 miles into it.
Numerous times I was asked if I "could ride that thing". I started
saying, "This? No, I only take it for walks in the park." And gave them
a look as if *they* were the ones acting strange.
It was great fun.
re: you're missing a wheel
ans: Are you talking to me? Because there's noone else here.
