That is truly a wonderful gift. Thankfully, He is my personal Lord and
    Savior.

May God bless you this New Year's day, in Christ's name.

The folks suffering after the calamities in southeast Asia remain in my
    prayers. May He save them.

    At His service,

    Andrew

you spend all this time proclaiming you are a devout christian working
to glorify God, and yet when you have the perfect oportunity to do
just that, simply by jumping on a plain and proving medical help and
care to the Tsunami victims you sit here on the net safely at home
posting [censored] to stroke your ego.

who would christ be proud of, you sitting at home trolling the
newsgroups, or the real doctor who got off his ass and helped those
people in need? of course if you went and helped those people, you
would not be able to bilk them as you do your victims in place you are
    now.

they need doctors as badly as they need water and food and medical
supplies. stop lying about being a christian and show us how a real
    christian doctor would act.

or just sit back and keep trolling the newsgroups like you always do
while doing nothing to help anyone.

They'd probably get so sick of his non-stop "witnessing" and
ridiculous attempts to "convert" them, they would probably send him
    back in short order.

Since you're an M.D. I have to ask, when is the last time you saw a
resurrection? I'd be willing to bet that you never have. Sure, you've
pulled a couple back from the precipice but those don't count as the
    body is still warm.

Thank you for your reply about the protein.
I hope you don't mind me hijacking your post again.
Just for the record I am type 2 diabetic.
Today for dinner I had whole wheat pasta
and some chicken. I cooked the meat separately
but did add some chicken carcasses to the sauce for flavor.
not to mention the hot peppers and ( o well never mind )

    now my question is -
I understand the longer I cook pasta the faster it will turn to sugar.
If I make my own pasta which requires less cooking would
that be a wiser choice for a diabetic?
    Thank you again.
    Tom

No amount of cooking will turn pasta into sugar.

It will raise the glycemic index but that is a different topic.
