Some weeks ago someone accidently bumped my spinal column with a
    trolley.
I didnt think think much of it at the time.

Some weeks on, I seem to have some discomfort on the lower left hand
side of the spine. I can bend forward, sideways, and exercise the back
normally, and my walking is unaffected. For much of the time there is
    very little problem.

When the trolley collided with the spine, it felt as if the the
trolley had hit a vertebrae - just like hitting a bone. Could this
have caused some stretching or straing of a muscle or ligament
attached to the column - which might account for the discomfort?

It has been about four weeks since the accident. Any idea how long it
    should take to rectify itself.

Its just an annoying problem, it doesn't affect my life - just mild
discomfort (on occassions). There is no radiating pain. The back bends
normally. It feels worse on getting up in the morning, but eases
    quickly.

    Thanks
