I'm gonna make some hakata style sauerkraut with my shokutaku tsukemono ki. But not sure of what type of knife to use to shred the cabbage with. I asked the former pickle king down the street and he suggest to lay out the cabbages on a board and start chopping with a Japanese sumari sword. Well I'm not so sure about that. I not even sure about this former pickle king guy. Seems like he is always pickled. If you know what I mean. You have or the other blades on this net have any suggestions as to what knifie to use for the cabbage then do let me know. I live on a fixed income so my funds are limited. In advance, thank you ever so!
