Drops don't get enough respect. it's really, really easy for people to
sit around *****ing about how overrated drops are... then the following
weekend they find themselves sitting at the top of a big drop crapping
themselves. i'm no different, big drops are scary. a rider who can
handle them has big balls, and that matters even more than strong
jumping muscles.
since unicycles can't freewheel, and therefore can't hit ramps, i've got
a hunch that pretty soon people will substitute distance downward (drop)
for distance upward/forward (ramp) and unicyclists will be pulling a lot
more BMX-style tricks off them/because of them.
