There was an italian pro (IIRC) who had a bad crash a few years back and was severly injured by another rider's Spinergy Rev-X wheel. Does anyone recall the incident, the rider, have any details?
It was only some nobody named Michele Bartoli. I believe it was at the Tour of Germany or at least a race in Germany. There was a crash, his knee went into the wheel shattering his knee cap and severing part of his quad tendon. He was never the same afterwards, yet still probably next Museeuw the best classics rider of the last 15 years.
