  1. They are n. american and british spelling respectively, all pointing to
    the same bean source for whatever product made. Are you sure of the
    source of the problem? The sauce is a fermented product of the bean and
    is usually used in such small amounts as a flavor agent, some allerigic
    reaction when you say gut or perhaps some other unrelated food often used
    in asian cooking which happens to include soy products? .
