i learned what shoes work for me, and which ones
don't..............so far NEW BALANCE is my choice.
i don't use their walking shoe, i go for the lighter ALL AROUND
athletic shoe.
in the winter, i wore their hiking boots for my daily walks in the
snow.
best of luck finding what works for
you.................patience.................
btw, don't measure your foots comfort by the price, your feet are
too important!

: I'm up to around 4 miles a day, walking and light jogging. Been
doing it
: for 2 months and it's great. My whole body feels great. Except for
my feet.
: I've always had sensitive soles, but the ball of the foot is
almost raw in
: pain. Just not used to exercise.
:
: I've spent some money on reasonably good walking shoes, but still
the pain
: is there. Apparently what I own is not good enough. I had bough
Dr.
: Scholl's walking inserts and it got slightly better. Since I love
the
: walking in the hills by the lake and the ocean waterfront, I want
to invest
: money in doing it well and without pain.
:
: Anyone has good experience with buying some better quality shoes
for
: walking? I'd hate to spend $100 or more for some Nike [censored] that
will make
: no difference.
:
: What are the ideas on this?
