Is anyone familiar with the Slow Food movement? Is there any
I'm a member, and belong to a convivium on the California coast. We try to have events that support local farmers; we try to educate ourselves about farming and politics; occassionaly we go to a school and teach kids about gardening; we eat good food. But each convivium is different. Slow Food is a political organization, so I would say it's a good idea to create a convivium if you want to support their efforts and have some good food and good company while you're at it.
