Anyone know what a "Demultiplicator" actually does ? I've seen these for sale (ebay) but they have me baffled. Obviously it is a downtube cable guide of sorts - but what is the demultiplicator part all about ?
Changes the amount of cable travel (intended for use on a tandem) such that a friction shift lever can span a far-away
wide range freewheel less sloppily.
The demultiplicator is a bell crank with different length arms
