Yup, I recommend Look pedals for road riding, PP357s are absolutely
fine. Decathlon do some nice looking compatible shoes for £30 and
£40, I've seen a few blokes using them but not tried them myeslf. I do
intend to though as I want a cheap pair for the winter. The magazines
usually have 'special offers' on shoes, £80 shoes for about £50 but
you will be well advised to try them on first. You should be able to
get a decent pair for £70. As for brands I prefer Sidi, I have some
Technos and some Genius 4s. At the middle to top end of the mraket
though I think the fit is the major differentiator rather than quality.
