Bet you can easily track them down too. The very day after my post I saw the same guys at CP for a race, and I think one or more days a week they do group runs from Niketown where surely part of the deal must be to let you try the goods.
Postscript to my post linked above: currently I cannot run pavement in the Waffle Racers - at some point I seem to have developed a callous on my right forefoot, an inch behind the second toe. The Waffle Racer isn't enough cushion between foot and road, and my old beat-up Air Streak Ekidens (I hear they're Paula R's fave too) are just barely maybe enough sometimes. Could be that Waffles + pavement led to this callous which now prevents me from wearing them.

Look you frkin' idiot, NIKES ARE THE CAUSE OF YOUR PROBLEMS! The sooner you get this into your head, the sooner you can move on to real shoes and years of trouble free running. Nikes are a designer shoe, and you are a HUGE sucker, as evidenced by how proud you are to be wearing her (the nose with legs) model of shoe. This is TYPICAL nike-wearer behavior.

Nikes are responsible for my job dissatisfaction, various neuroses, and trouble getting your wife to return my calls lately? Is that via some kind of odd "butterfly effect"?
FWIW, my least favorite pair of current shoes, the ones I'd wear to a competition to see who could get injured first, happen to be made by Asics.
