Shouldn't "The society for cutting up bicycles" be "SCUB"? He could always
go with "The Society for Cutting Apart Bicycles" I suppose.

actually I love cutting up hard rubbish, (bicycles included) to make
other bicycle things. Stalled todays as there is this wetstuff descending.
