  1. I installed the new idler bracket as shown on the RANS sight and left
    a little more slack in the timing chain than before. My wife and I
    went for a ride this morning. The peddling seemed smoother. What
    probably caused the problem was the timing chain was too tight, my
    fault. I believe this will solve the problem. Good service from RANS
    and the USPO. I ordered the part and a spare Monday and it arrived
    here in VABeach Wednesday. Thanks for the advice.
