Frankly, the people who think that there was a preponderance of
evidence for WMD's in 2002 are right up ther with the morons who think
the holocaust never happened, and the stupids that think vietnam was
"a just cause" (including kissinger), and the nazis that think
mccarthy had the right idea (witness the neocon outcry over having
their treachery exposed in the recent movie, "Good Night, and Good
Luck",) and a host of other right-wing loony-bin ideas.
I frankly thought bush was just talking up the war to help him win the
mid-term elections. When he won the elections I was shocked to find
out he he didn't SHUT UP, but continued to spout that false garbage
until he spontaneously (without an act of congress) began the first
(and probably last) presidentially-invented war in american history.
