Mr 'bent man' was nice and I felt a lot of sympathy for him when he
said he'd fallen 'cos I knew how he felt! He fell on a pothole shortly
after I'd fallen on that horrid not-very-level crossing that was
ruthlessly placed at a 45 degree angle accross the road making it
impossible to cross at right angles. I thought I'd just about made it,
despite a few skids and wobbles, when the wheel slipped into one of the
grooves and then I knew I was buggered! Level crossings and water are
not a good combination anyway :- (It was good to meet you Dave - you look completely different to what I
imagined. I dunno know why but I thought you would be older and not as
good looking, heh heh! -

thought you were about 30-35. I felt about 129 yesterday too, although
