  1. Did you ask your wife whether this would be a good time to ride? To
    get back to your original subject, I commute immediately after eating a
    large breakfast, and go pretty hard. Never bothers me. If the only
    time you have to ride is right after eating, then do it. With a baby
    girl you probably won't be doing any intensive racing for a while, so
    the ride can be as hard or easy as you want it to be. And it sure
    beats watching TV. Best of luck.

    I can't imagine being in a reasonably aero position on a full stomach
    without a fair bit of bother :-)
