I want to congratulate all the riders and support people who
participated in RTL. That is quite an accomplishment regardless of the
placing, and you get to say you were there for the first one.
I hesitate to single out any team, but I have to give kudos to the
TexaCali guys for their great 3rd place finish. I also have to say that
Nathan and Beau Hoover finishing 11th as a two-man team is just amazing
(but not really surprising). The fact that they are a father and son
team makes it even cooler.

The GPS tracking made it much more fun to follow along, in spite of
some glitches. I imagine it will be really slick by 2010.

Thanks for the entertainment!
Scott

Well - the race was unbelievable, fantastic, epic, awesome...words fail
me. I'm stuck at the Halifax Holiday Inn after a cancelled flight.
Those who know me realize that a full write-up w/an extra order of
verbosity will be forthcoming.

Congrats to all the riders, and a HUGE thanks to all the volunteers and
support crews!!

We just got back home from Cape Breton and I thought I wouldn't want to
do any riding for a while, but I can't wait to get up early tomorrow
and go on a nice long ride through the trails... now that Team Manly
Legs isn't chasing us or us chasing them. It should be a little more
relaxing than it has been all week. I'm so glad I entered, it was
amazing to meet so many other great folks from around the world. It was
a wonderful opportunity to meet a ton of really talented riders. Hello
from Team Venture to everyone who rode the lobster!
Let's hope RTL 2 happens.
