Hi from the right coast of Canada:
All teams got off OK it seems.
At one hour twenty minutes into today's leg, it looks like this:

NZUNI
Texacali
Personal Rollercoaster
German Speeders
Smile
Totally Doable

all within about 300 metres of each other,

then a big clump of teams, maybe drafting each other.

Check the Satellite shot of the route: the terrain is now a little more
than rolling.

Noticed that the leading teams are all riding geared. Isn't there a
poll on this?

Best from SUNI Granville Ferry in Nova Scotia.

William

Yes -- ken an I were drafting up front for the first 20km. But, Ken is
ungeared.

I made an assumption about who was driving geared and ungeared. My
mistake.
Apologizing,
